Special Teacher Award presented to Carol Dunn by
Thomas Hegranes

Carol Dunn teaches students with DCD in the Minneapolis Public Schools. She was nominated by Thomas Hegranes, Executive Director of Special Education. In his nomination letter he cited parents who expressed their gratitude for her patience, excellent communication and teaching ability, and the progress their children make with her instruction. As one parent stated “Mrs. Dunn is impacting his whole life and he is progressing at a faster rte than was ever thought possible.” Mr. Hegranes emphasized the quality of her work and the caring and dedication she brings to her students every day.
